Despite February being the shortest month of the year, it has proven to be a challengingly productive one here at Theory House. It's times like these, I get swallowed by my to-do list and wonder why it continues to grow despite multi-tasking all day. I am a creature of routine. When I leave work at 5:30, go to the gym, then head home to make dinner and relax, I feel great. But, the instances when I don't leave work until 6:30 or 7, I skip the gym, pick up dinner on the way home, and justify pouring myself a glass of wine to accompany it. I haven't yet mastered a happy medium between these routines.
This article 14 Things Successful People do on Weekends was a great reminder that maintaining the work vs. life balance not only improves my sanity but improves the quality of work I am able to produce during the week. Not to mention, these changes will make great habits for the day when I have a family to balance. Here's to making March a healthier and more balanced month!
